Frequently asked questions.
Are your training sessions customized to each individual client?
Yes! Once your initial assessment is complete, I then develop a program for you that is specific to your needs and goals. I am constantly re-evaluating your progress to assure that we avoid plateau and use periodization methods that allows for progressive overload. What does this mean? Although the movements might seem similar, there is always a change in variables such as weight, volume, frequency or equipment used.
Are the sessions private or in a group setting?
I offer one on one personal training. I can also accommodate groups of two or three individuals at a time upon request. Privacy and client confidentiality is extremely important to me. You will enter/exit through a private entrance. I allocate sufficient time between client to be able to clean and prepare the next upcoming sessions with no client overlap.
How long are the sessions?
Sessions are typically 1 hour in duration however, 30 min sessions can be conducted upon request.
Will I always have the same trainer?
Yes! I am the owner and operator of Stronger-U. All sessions are conducted by me.
Do you provide nutrition plans?
No I do not as I am not a license nutritionist. That said, I do provide guidance with regards to daily required caloric intake, calculation of TDEE (total daily energy expenditure) and give you healthy and easy recipe ideas to help you succeed! I have a strong understanding of the nutritional requirements needed to sustain a healthy lifestyle. It is important for clients to understand how to have a healthy relationship with food to develop proper eating habits. This will further assist you in meeting and sustaining your current and future fitness goals.
Do I need any fitness experience?

What if I have an injury?
Being a certified Kinesiologist, I will assess your movement patterns before we begin. We have a discussion regarding the injury and diagnosis. From there, I will incorporate some exercises that can help increase range of motion while strengthening the specific joint in which you have sustained the injury.
What do I need to bring?
Comfortable clothing, indoor running shoes, water bottle and small towel. Due to COVID restrictions I am unable to provide water and towel services at this time.
